hey y'all! remember when i said you shouldn't expect to hear much about a VST3/CLAP port for a while?

i, uh. lied.

SFLT is now available for VST3/CLAP!

the Rust rewrite ended up making the porting process a LOT more doable than i anticipated, and after a couple weeks of work, you can now use the brand new SFLT v0.5 in any DAW you want!

if you're on FL Studio, the native FL version is still the best option due to its tight host integration. there are some differences between the versions -- those are mostly down to needing to re-implement things that FL itself provides for a native plugin, such as legato support.

i've done my best to make the VST3/CLAP version integrate nicely with as many hosts as possible; the plugin supports both MPE and Note Expression, meaning that some hosts will allow you to tune and pan notes individually! (not FL, though. grumble.)

this is obviously a huge shakeup to the internals that affects every part of the plugin - please let me know on Twitter or Bluesky if you encounter any issues!

i'm really excited about this release -- it widens the plugin's potential audience massively, and gives me a much more solid foundation to build on! in the short term, i'll be going back to focusing on CHORDIOID for a while, but i'm also looking forward to getting this thing to a polished v1.0 release.
